Incredible accomplishments were made by people while they were forced to be quarantined, imprisoned or in some way separated from their normal daily routines.
• The Apostle Paul wrote several books of the Bible while imprisoned.
• John Bunyan wrote Pilgrim’s Progress while in the Bedford jail, a book that has impacted millions of believers over the past 350 years.
• Isaac Newton, the most famous creation scientist, made great progress on calculus and his theories in optics and gravity being quarantined during the Great Plague of London in 1665-1666.
• William Tyndale transformed the English speaking world while hiding from the authorities by translating the Bible into English from the original languages in 1526. (Translating the Bible was illegal.)
While you may not accomplish such great things as these examples during the current forced quarantine, there is a great opportunity to grow in your walk with Christ and learn important things!
